SKINNEY BOY BIO - Antoine Watkins aka Skinney Boy, was born on September 3rd 1986 in Kalamazoo, Michigan.  As a youngster Skinney enjoyed playing sports, mainly basketball and football.  Growing up in a family of musicians, Skinney always showed interest in the latest music trends and groups.  Some of his favorite childhood influences were Michael Jackson, Earth Wind & Fire, and Bobby Brown.  As a young teen he enjoyed listening to rappers like Lil Wayne, Outkast, and Tupac.  Today, some of Skinney's favorite artists are Dave East, Fabulous, and J.Cole.  In high school Skinney would often freestyle with friends who encouraged him to take his craft more seriously.  Ever since then he has been working tirelessly to perfect his craft.  In turn, he has compiled a lengthy list of accomplishments and created a sizable body of work.  Starting with the mixtape "Class in Session" One, Two, and Three.  Skinney was still developing his style along with other striving artists.  Soon after his initial mixtapes Skinney connected with independent artists, Young Royal and R.O.B, and led them as a group to release TEAM AFFILIATED'S SPIT SQUAD album.  During this time, Skinney Boy worked together with the group to build a sizable local following.  Consistently selling out venues around the Midwest, shooting several music videos to put visuals to music, working with industry professionals through projects and shows such as Duane Darock and Beanie Sigel.  Multiple radio stations began regularly playing Skinney Boy's music and radio personalities like T.Robb and Majyck D began interviewing him for new releases.  With an undeniable stage presence and placing top 3 in three different reputable contests including Club Red in Chicago and Detroit's well known venue, The Shelter, he now has his sights set on the bigger picture!  His latest music release derives from his mixtapes "Freedom of the Mind" 1 & 2, which led to the 3rd dropping as his latest album, "Freedom of the Mind 3", which can be found wih all major digital music partners including Spotify, Amazon, iTunes, Apple Music, YouTube, Tidal, Deezer, and of course his website www.teamaffiliated.com
